ABOUT

On the weekend of 25-26 April 2026, Hestra IF and IK Ymer will welcome you to the 49th LinnéMarschen, a walk in the beautiful Rya Åsar nature reserve, visited by Carl von Linné (Linneaus) back in 1746. Since 2012 we are a proud member of IML international walk.

Start and finish are at the Borås Arena:

PARKING

There are many parking places around Borås Arena.
Pls note that some parking areas are for free and some of them requires a fee.

At the moment (autumn 2025) this parking area is for free:

REGISTRATION

Do your registration for LinnéMarschen 2026 at this site:

Registration will open saturday 25 of october.

Note:
-Payment by card before finishing registration.
-You have to do one registration for each walkingday. It won’t cost any extra for the second registration.
-Your registration must be done before 17 April 2026.

You’re able to registrate before start at Borås Arena, but the price will be a bit higher then.
The entry fee includes refreshments along the routes, and a ”Linné-medal”

57 km 2-days, incl breakfast = 650 SEK
42 km Marathon Walk = 430 SEK
30 km Hestra/Rya Åsar = 320 SEK
21 km Kype-Ymer, 21 km Rya Åsar = 280 SEK
10,5 km Kype and 10,5 km Viskan = 240 SEK
23 km Hitta hem = 370 SEK (bus transport included)

LATE ENTRY

On-site entry is possible:

Thursday 23 april and friday 24 april –
In the shop Vildland, Getängvägen 38 in Borås between 10 am – 6 pm.

at the start Borås Arena from 07:15 am.

(Instant entry is not possible to ”57 km 2-days” or ”23 km Hitta hem”)

42 Marathon Walk = 570 SEK
30 km Hestra/Rya Åsar = 450 SEK
21 km Kype-Ymer, 21 km Rya Åsar = 370 SEK
10,5 km Kype and 10,5 km Viskan = 320 SEKAll routes includes ”Swedish fika” such as coffe, refreshments, buns, fruit during your walk.

WALKING CLASSICS

Linnémarschen is one of the largest walking events in the North and are a member of the Swedish ”Folksport” Association (IVV) Walking Classics and in the nordic ”Vandrebukett”. Stamps/registry and walkingpassports in the area of start and finish.
