Borås Tidnings Family Adventure Walk

Borås Tidnings Family Adventure Walk is for everyone, young and old, who wants to experience an exciting day in the forest.

Beautiful and varied course in the Rya Åsar nature reserve.
Date: Saturday, April 25 or Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Borås Tidnings Family Adventure Walk is an exciting forest hike for the whole family with a start and finish at Borås Arena and with a number of adventure stations. The stations are mainly aimed at children between about 5 and 10 years old.
In 2025, we had the popular Cable Car as a station and in addition to this, we had collaborations at the stations with, among others, Borås Tidning, , Borås Energi & Miljö, Upzone, Borås Stad Skogsavdelning, Tottes Event, Holmryds Mejeri.

Choose Saturday or Sunday when registering. The start is between 09.00 and 11.00 and you are free to choose when you want to start.
Expect a hiking time of about 3-5 hours. No timekeeping.

Many families with children go with a stroller or sulky, which works perfectly.

TOILETS & FIKA

Toilets are available inside Borås Arena and at Ramshulan after about 2.5 km.

Fika and drink stations are available after 1 km and at Ramshulan after 2.5 km. Feel free to bring your own fika if the parents and children’s energy and mood weaken at places other than these stations.

REGISTRATION

Pre-registration until April 17th is done via the registration link in the menu.
The cost is 100:-/person. Children born in 2021 and later participate for free.
Registration for children born in 2021 and later is done before the start, at Borås Arena.

You can register later either:
– Thursday, April 23rd or Friday, April 24th between 10-18 in Vildland’s store at Getängsvägen 38
– on site at Borås Arena in connection with the event

Later registration is for an increased fee.
Late registration is possible on Friday, April 21st in Vildland’s store or before the start at Borås Arena.
The cost is then 125:-/person. Children born in 2021 and later participate for free.

START

No pre-booking of starting time at Borås Tidnings Family Adventure Walk, free start between 9:00 – 11:00

Try to be at the start at Borås Arena at least 10 minutes before the start closes.

FINISH LINE

The finish is placed inside Borås Arena. All children who complete Borås Tidnings Family Adventure Walk will receive a medal.

ARENA SQUARE

After the finish line, you can catch up at the Arena Square, where there are refreshments and sales of products.
